These terms cover your use of ledgerandorder.ca. Bookkeeping, tax and project work for clients is covered separately, by a signed engagement letter. If the two ever disagree, the engagement letter applies.

Who we are

Ledger & Order is a bookkeeping and financial operations practice owned and operated by Melissa Gray in Prince Edward Island, serving clients across the Island and Atlantic Canada.

What this site is, and isn’t

Everything on this site is general information. It isn’t accounting, tax, legal or financial advice for your specific situation. Tax rules change and every business is different, so please don’t act on anything here without talking to a qualified professional who has looked at your actual numbers.

We keep the site as accurate and current as we can, but we don’t guarantee it is complete or free of errors.

Working with us

Visiting this site, contacting us or booking a discovery call doesn’t create a client relationship or commit you to anything. A client relationship starts when we both sign an engagement letter.

The scope of work, fees, timelines and each side’s responsibilities are set out in that engagement letter and in any project proposal that goes with it.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other services, such as our booking calendar or the software we work with. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

The text, logo and graphics on this site belong to Ledger & Order. You’re welcome to share a link to any page. Please don’t copy or reuse the content itself without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Ledger & Order isn’t liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on its general content. Responsibility for client work is set out in each engagement letter.

These terms are governed by the laws of Prince Edward Island and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
